Karna and the parrot's eye

Currently designing a book based on a fantasy.
The book is based on stories of relationships.

This illustration is based on one of the stories from Mahahabharata. Karna is aiming for the parrot's eye when he says,
​
"I don’t see anything, I don’t see the tree, I don’t see the Parrot and I don’t see the eye of the parrot either. I see only myself – The eye of the parrot which is my goal, is already a part of me, we are not two different individuals anymore we are one – I am the Goal and the goal is me”
​
The idea was to depict this relationship between Karna and the goal.
